Many people in the alternative research community seem to be waiting around for mass arrests, disclosure, the GLF or some outside force to "save" them really I fail to see how all that differs from waiting for the return of christ or some other saviour. I'd rather be involved with my local community as much as possible while retaining an interest in all the global shenanigans going on (Syria currently, the money issue, Fukashima etc.).
