G'day all....way back in the 70's and 80's I was excited about clay .

I made heaps of heads and even more dolphins and whales... They were
so good that I don't have anymore left...you know how it is...people just
fell in love with them. They were made hollow, joining two cones, more or less.

The heads were somewhat more technical for coil pots, having to be made in stages,
to let sections firm up before moving on. The glazed ones fired to earthenware, the
others to stoneware...Some had a lid, as in a container, others as planters .etc.

I missed one of my favourites last time.

Then during spring clean, came across these photos..portfolio for an unsuccessful grant , way back.

Then next one, a favourite was accidently smashed..my young fellow and rollerblades. The face ended up in a stone wall..ha

Also some shots of the popular whales and dolphins...a bit gross being stranded on the beach, but......

And the last surviving dolphin, minus a chunk of tail fluke..shark attack ? Nice dark glaze though..Found under a pile of clutter

"Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to www.thecrowhouse.com" has been slowing down our communication... This one goes through I guess.
Much respect for this pottery work! Clay is a big part of our mission, a return to natural living process....
