Firstly let me start by saying this. "I'm pretty stupid!" Because of this rather intellectual deficiency I have failed to grasp the actual cause of global warming. Similar to that of a dog waiting in anticipation for the gratification that comes as a result of obtaining a well earned treat, I've sought to understand the actual issue of global warming all to no avail and sordid disappointment. In fact, I've read many pieces that have proclaimed to be the chalice of the global warming argument and yet whilst these self professed intellectual giants use fancy graphs and other interesting symbols to add weight to their argument, I still walk away with a blank face unsure of what it is they are really trying to say?

To some, the argument is as obvious as the need to tax the air we breath and yet for those with limited intellect like me, the overly complex synergism's used by the politicians and leading scientists to make sense of this dilema just don't make sense? There are even those who like to jump into the conversation using the same visual aids presented by the global warming advocates and on this basis find mathematical inconsistencies with their said logic. Ironically logic that to me superseded a comprehension in the first place.

The issue of global warming seems so complex that I cannot help but remain wide eyed, blinded like a kangaroo staring into the headlights of an oncoming Mac-Truck, incapable of making sense of the actual argument. So I ask, nah, I beg, can someone please present the actual cause of global warming in a way that will take me out of this temporary state of intellectual paralysis?

In the most simplest manner possible, can someone please explain to me (almost as though I am a two year old), what the actual "cause" of this modern day tragedy is? I'd be most grateful...

Their is a lot of people that believe the earth is just going through a cycle that happens every so many thousands of years. It could be that we are being deceived yet again about something which possibly happens naturally on the earth and probably on other planets as well. I have heard of other planets going through the same as earth. It must be natural as their are no humans on other planets ( only aliens) lol. 8-)

OK - I must admit I am slightly cynical as well - but my understanding for all intensive purposes is that climate change is caused by C02. Is that correct?

johnny anonymous seemed to summ up what "Global Warming" is rather well.

Keep in mind, we do not call it "Global Warming" anymore, for a few years after Al Gore, and others claimed that the planet was warming up, it began to cool down. So now they call it "Climate Change".

From what I have been reading, the greatest contributer to Greenhouse Gases is actually naturally created water vapour, and humanity as a whole, provides a minute amount of Co2 incomparison to what is naturally being created. Also, without Co2 plants would, to place it bluntly, die out, followed by the rest of much life on the planet.

We also have to take into consideration, that temperatures would no doubt go through a thousand or more years cycles.

Though, do not get me wrong, as if I am implying that our pollutive ways are of no concern. As the pollutive ways in my opinion, are there to harm human health, in turn lowering life-span. But as for warming the planet up? It's naught but a lie for us to be taxed harder.

Eh ? Global warming ? Isn't that a fiction created by the University of East Anglia to facilitate yet more taxes to be payed to & through a bank created by Al Gore ? (as in the illustration above )

In the UK we had a couple of scientists that were highly favoured by the BBC until they pointed out that the science says exactly the opposite.

My point is this - if global warming is an increase in co2, and trees eat co2, isn't the solution to stop cutting down our trees and plants lots more. .

Well, if that is the case we more than ever need to change our hydrogen source, from oil to water. But trees and plants need CO2, they use it in their photosynthesis.

Have you ever heard of Henrik Svensmark? He has made a perfect model of how cosmic rays control our climate.
