Video Shows Gaddafi has the support of his people

^
A picture communicates more effectively where words can fail to express.

The video shows the emotions, attitudes of the people towards Gaddafi.

The duration of this video clip is more than 9 minutes. It appears genuine & filmed during peace times.

People everywhere, on the streets, in cars, are cheering, happily waving to Gaddafi and his entourage as they pass by and weave the streets. Gaddafi is waving to the people. Pedestrians flock towards Gaddafi to touch him, hold his hands in a thankful manner. The city, vehicles, street, people clothing and body language do NOT indicate lack of.

:ty: In this video clip, people are blatantly demonstrating their support and thanks to Gaddafi.

Is this the same Libya that the Western Media/ US-Nato wants us to believe?

Yes, I accept that Gaddafi was an 'evl' dictator to many Libyans; he was also perceived as a 'great man' to many too (as evident in the video).

Since I do not personally know the man, and I have not lived in Libya, it has never been my intention to insult nor denigrate those who have experienced any suffering/death under his leadership.

However my main hope and focus lies in the 'notion' of freedom from fiat money and the debt-slavery system so ingrained in our daily lives. Gaddafi established the gold dinar, the gold standard and proof that freedom from this fiat money-debt slavery system can be achieved.
Why 'notion' because I can only imagine how this 'more' equitable currency system can transform society and human consciousness. Ideally one day, humanity may come to realise that no currency is needed, credit is elliminated, because people mean more than consumerism.

I think that day will come when the majority of people realise that matter is not real, that consciousness-energy is all there is. Therefore the Scientist, Religious Leaders and Media of this World have great responsibility; in their current mode they are perpetuating slavery, suffering and the current sad human condition. It is also up to each person to have self-responsibility, think with an open questioning mind, embrace love and not fear for humanity to enjoy global peace.

I don't think I can say much more on this subject except my heart is with Libya with my family and friends there, with friends that have lost husbands, all the people that lost their loved ones due to gaddafi for the past 42 years and the last 8 months. May they live in freedom and stay united and tell everyone else please mind your own business but thankyou so much for your help!

People from Gaza that want to work in Libya now, well done to them. The hospitality of Libyans is also well known in many places.

Here's some info they have put up to show the crimes of gaddafi from 1969 till present, well worth a read if anyone is interested?

Not much else I can say about Libya at the moment untill I can see what happens from now onwards. For a new beginning and to freedom from a tyrant! 8-)

This is our Thuwar (Freedom Fighters) just watched and just saw my friends husband ( that I knew for 32 years) that died for the freedom from a tyrant and for the freedom for his children and all future generations and no body can know what it was like to live under gaddafi unless you actually experienced it and I did!! Brilliant men all of them.

You think gaddafi had a bad ride well if you had to live through and see what these youth saw and the population at large then perhaps everyone can make a comment then! Had to share as I am so proud of him and all his countrymen! 8-)

Hi Coralann,
I have wanted to respond to this thread for a while but I usually dont respond to things I'm not completely sure about, meaning things I dont have first hand knowledge of whats really going on. I see both sides and think there are many things going on in Libya, I dont think this is a simple situation. Nothing is black and white.

I believe you about everything you say, Gaddafi was a cruel and violent man, an oppressive tyrant... so were many other people in his family. Wasnt it his daughter who poured boiling water on their Ethiopian nanny becasue she refused to beat the child? I could try to find the video and post it here....

As far as all the wonderful services he gave his people I have been told by many people who have connections/family there that this was not true for everyone, only his inner circle received most benefits. Also, the video where he is driving around Libya with his head sticking out of the car, waving, trying to prove that no one in his country hated him, I always wondered where are all the people? The streets are empty and eerie, accept for a few men on the corner here and there. There were not many people out there cheering him on, and if he was so great the streets would be filled with adoring fans, but they're not. Although I do believe there were other reasons behind taking him out, like the gold money currency and it being the only currency used to purchase it's oil, interest free money no central bank, water etc... Clearly there were many reasons the elite wanted to remove him from power, but these reasons dont make the people of Libya's reasons for not wanting him as a dictator in their country any less valid.

As far as fighting goes..... it's a difficult subject. Anyone who lives in the comfort of Western "Civilization" simply cannot understand what its like for your husband, father, brother, or child to suddenly disappear whether it be from work or off the street becasue "police" snatch them, take them to undisclosed locations , beat them, torture them and even kill them.... People who dont live under this constant threat simply cannot understand. Here, Muslims get arrested for no reason and cannot see a lawyer or family for months. They are starved, then fed food from the garbage and water from the toilet, shocked with electricity and beaten etc.. no body knows who will be next, when it will happen or from where. The Army comes in with their tanks, shooting innocent children, women etc, destroying homes, trees agriculture etc... The important question to ask is: At what point do we have the right to defend ourselves, and what does that self defense look like?

Sure a one time attack can be warded off, usually, but how do you defend your self, family and property when you dont have any weapons and you're being brutally attacked on a regular basis by an armed force? Should we all just rollover and die? At what point do these brave men find a way to arm themselves against the attackers and fight? Is it before or after their mothers, wifes and daughters have been violently gang raped by soldiers while they are forced to watch from the floor with the attackers boot in their back? These things will never make the news, only the angry Palestinian or Libyan with a rock or a gun will make the news. Also when a woman is raped by a soldier it is never reported for 2 reasons, 1. because it wont make any difference and no justice will come out of it and 2. because of her honor, her life will never be the same so they spare her the disgrace, or embarrassment.

So it's easy for people from the outside looking in to have the wrong assumptions, like for example the wrong assumption that defending yourself and your family is an easy thing to do or a one time affair. Once we've been exposed to the violence, lost people we love and had to defend ourselves on a daily basis our perspective changes drastically.... as it did for me and my family when we witnessed Israeli soldiers murder an innocent boy in our village, watched countless people stand outside their homes while the Israeli army demolishes it, and countless other human rights violations that almost always include some sort of violence and humiliation.... etc.

So I'm not sure what to say or how to encourage you, your family and your friends. Just be safe and keep standing your ground. Spread peace in all your ways (starting within and reflecting it out) and fight for your right to do so. Take care of your family and teach them the deeper truths of this reality and never forget we are eternal consciousness with infinite possibilities for spiritual growth and connection to God/source in every moment. Keep your faith close to you and always remember God is merciful and compassionate.

I love you. My heart and spirit stand with you in your struggles.

Enjoy our upcoming holiday.... Kul am w'inti bthair (sorry for the spelling, I only know how to write it in Arabic, not in English)

Masha'Allah you got it spot on Jamilah and thankyou for your kind words. I just couldn't stand back and let it go so much disinfo out there. The Libyans peacefully demonstrated at the start and gaddafi's men just gunned them down with automatics and then anti aircraft weapons, if they didn't stand up for themselves he would have killed them all, their were many defectors so the weapons were built up over time and of course many came in under the radar quite rightly so! I tried my best to spread around the truth but some people are so blind. We know their is an agenda going on but only God knows the future and we have to keep our faith strong as you so rightly said and we have to do what we think is best. My best friend lost her husband and she never stopped him and her sons going to fight when the time came and the women all encouraged their menfolk to do likewise, we have always had contact for 32 years when I heard I was so upset so was my husband. I was happy for her husband as he is a Shaheed but I think the tears are for her and her children. Their are many thousands dead apparently 50,000 missing presumed dead by now. Truely it is a big mess. A new interim Prime Minister has been elected ( I posted info above) and I pray they will stay united and deal with the Ilites and all their plans. God willing they could be the example that the rest of the Arabs can follow, only time will tell and only if it is God's will at this present time. Did you see the film about Omar Muktar 'Lion of the Desert' that went up againgst the Italians a million dead I think (my husband told me the other day I've forgot). When ever I read something I ask my husband what he has heard as he has many contacts and all the Libyans have been doing their bit either here or in libya, all my friends as well have been doing as much as they can, awareness, cakes sales, charity evenings and now we need to do so much more for all the women and children that have suffered so much psychologically and all the returning fighters that have seen such horrors. I have read and watched everything from day one and it was truely horrific. As for the bombs, my friends told me the people were warned well in advance and when they dropped them only the building was destroyed nothing else. My main concern was the DU ( depleated uranium) and also many other things like terminator seeds and many other issues. So hopefully my husband can inform who he knows to pass the info onto the important people. Although I am sure that they know about a good many things already, I'm just making sure and keep my family and friends informed there until I can go in person.
Eid Mubarak to you and your family as well my sister have a very blessed time Insha'Allah :) xoxoxo

I'm with you he was not an evil dictator !!!! He was a great man !!! I haven't been on this site for age's and i can't believe anyone here didn't know the truth about the rebels & Lybia
Here is one of my favourite video's on the truth about Gadaffi.....
