i wanted to ask everyones opinion on the freemasons. good? bad? my grandfather was in the freemasons for the better part of his life, he was (from my experiances) a good man. he wanted me to join and lately i have been kicking around the idea. on the flip side i have heard many bad things about them. i just figured since you all seem to be open minded individuals i might get a more well informed opinion from you then i would the average person. sooooo, waddaya think?

Well my best advice is to get you're grandfather to tell you what its like to be a Freemason. Be warned that even though he is family he may lie to you on this subject in the same way doctors have lied to their own family members to vaccinate them which brings in hordes of cash. Its a sad truth but this does happen. I am not saying he will but please do keep an open mind

I do know that there is a degree system and the lower degrees generally do know know a huge deal about what goes on in the upper echelon degrees.

Maybe looking them up on the internet may be a good 2nd source of info. Always good as long as you've got a half decent website which tells it is it is.

From what I understand it is a religious organization. They believe in some weird anti-christian stuff higher up.

It's far from just being anti-christian.

Honestly, I doubt they mind Christians at all. The NWO certainly doesn't.

They're very easy to manipulate.

Any followers of any monotheistic religions are easy to manipulate. And i think the higher up Freemasons are into Satanism.

I think there are different levels and most Mason's are not privy to the inner workings of the organization.

Who knows I'm not worried about them, NWO or whatever. I think I'll just worry about what I am.

They actually welcome all, religous beliefs, though higher up Ive heard they are Luciferian/Satanic (there is a differance, but I wont get into it quite yet).

Ive also heard that once you get to a certain degree, they ask you to spit on the cross, if you do, you get a well done and are invited to the next degree and a whole new spectrum of knowledge, if you dont, you get a well done for staying true to your religion, but that is as far as you go.

I would say go for it, you will have access to knowledge that outsiders like us dont, especially as you climb up the pyramid, but if things get dodgy well, thats up to you....

thanks fella's. i appriciate the input. i would love to ask my grandpa these questions, but, he passed away in 07. from what i understand the only belief prereq. is that you believe in one god only. me personally, i believe that we are all little fragments of god. i wonder if that counts. and waking, what is the difference between lucifarian and satanic? you caught my attention with that one. i for one do not have a subscription to any religion, so any input is welcome. im open minded. spitting on a cross does not frighten me. its just a cross and its just spit. thats the way i look at it. for all i know jesus never existed. it would be like spitting on some idol from some ancient whatever tribe to me. i dunno, just kicking around some ideas. trying to find my place in this crazy reality.

Well, there is quite a bit of info out there about these two beliefs, some of it is contradictory and paradoxical, some of it is lies, and some of it is the truth.
But this is my understanding of them both,

Very simply put, Satanism is about the Ego, and fulfilling your carnal/natural needs and desires.

Luciferianism on the other hand is about advancing psychic ability and developing spiritually.

As for me, I have Satanic and Luciferian beliefs, though I prefer not to label myself 'Satanic' or 'Luciferian' as this breeds seperation and conflict, the 'Us and Them' mentality, the 'either, or' way of thinking, which is the cause of all the problems of humanity.

Im sure you have all heard of the 'Satanic Ritual Abuse' cases where mentally ill, low-life, self proclaimed Satanists go out in a full moon and perform blood rituals and sacrifices. These people dont know anything about Satanism except for what they have seen in the movies or on T.V.

And Im sure you have all heard of the Inquisition aswell, where the Church designed many different horrific devices and ways to torture thousands (if not millions) of innocent Men, Woman and Children.
