Hey Doug, I thought I had replied to your post a long time ago.... but now I see I havent. Forgive me, I'm so bad at this kind of stuff... I post something and then I never have the time to follow up on it.
I agree with so much of what you said.... For me religion is pure and basic, it works for me, but for many people it is not a healthy path and it is being controlled and twisted by corrupt leaders who take people away from the basic message and keep everyone in little boxes of fear. This is true for every religion.
What I love about Islam is that we accept all the prophets and holy scriptures. The message is the same, be clean (mentally and spiritually as well as physically), walk on a straight path and do no harm to anything or anyone. Anything beyond that is too much for me and I tend to tune out. I have friends from every walk of life and I dont care if people choose a religious structure for their lives or not... It's the depth of a persons heart and willingness to act in positive/constructive ways that are important, not what religion or lack of religion they choose.
As far as the root of the problem goes, the sad part is that the elite have infected every part of the tree, not just the root, and the root extends into every part of life. I know we can uproot this problem, collectively.... The UN has so many people fooled here. They give out flour sugar and medicine for free to poor Palestinians... as if thats going to solve anything, and to tell you something scary, I made bread on my wood stove with some of this flour and the left over bread never went bad or got moldy... after I noticed that the bread was not changing in anyway I decided to see how long I can keep the bread before it starts to decompose and I've had a piece for over a year and it looks like I just made it. It's hard now, not soft but has never grown any mold.... I also tell people not to take the vitamins the UN gives out, I cant even imagine whats really in them, but the people are so happy to receive anything for free that you cant reason with them, so what can I do? I just keep on doing what I do and hope the seeds I plant turn into self sustaining farms.
Anyway......Thank you Doug for taking the time to respond to my post... I love all the stuff you post on here, the problem is that I'm not on the computer too often and when I am I'm kind of a dunce about it.

Thank you for your positive and inspiring words. I love uniting with people who realize all these wars are nothing more than fear based propaganda. Helping people see, especially the soldiers who are fighting these wars, the truth about them isnt so easy to do, it takes a lot of prayer and patience. I have several friends who serve in the Israeli Army and they honestly believe they are defending themselves against "monsters" who threaten their rights to exist. These people justify all their actions and make excuses for everything, always pointing fingers and blame shifting. In order for anyone to grow, evolve and move forward to higher frequencies an honest look within is needed and people who are completely brainwashed and programmed to think that murdering little Palestinian children is in the best interest of the country have also been programmed to never look within and think for themselves, so how can we break this vicious cycle? Like you said the whole world is waking up.... it cant be too much longer before something here gives and the Israeli/Palestinian conflict is looked at with a balanced eye by the people involved and fueling the conflict. If the ones fighting their wars refuse to do so we will have peace because the elite will never do any of the dirty work, they depend on the common slaves to do it for them. I hope I am around to see such a resistance, and celebrate true freedom, freedom for everyone involved, including the Israeli's as most of them are so trapped in fear based propaganda they cant function as normal individuals. Of course their traps cant compare to the outright hell the Palestinians live in.... and as an individual trying to raise children in Occupied East Jerusalem I can tell you it is not so easy to keep them from hating Israelis... but I make sure they stay in contact with all sides here (Muslim, Jewish, Christian, etc) so they can mature with a balanced view and compassionate understanding.

Thank you for sharing your heart and your struggles with me. I feel your pain, and encourage you to move through life day by day, step by step and enjoy every possible moment, each moment, no matter how stressful can offer an opportunity to connect to our true divine inner self and it is through that connection with ourselves that we come to know our creator and learn how to naturally radiate the amazing light of his love, this which is beyond words is what people feel, pick up on and connect to. Even the most enlightening words can feel hollow if the one speaking them is disconnected from himself and his creator, yet someone who is connected can have a powerful effect on people without uttering a single word. Sometimes I just have to stop speaking (preaching) and just live my life here, and by the example I create through living life makes people start wanting the same things, because they feel something about it, some sort of connection and they want that too... we all do. Don't worry too much that you cant get your wife to turn off the TV... how about asking her out on a fun outdoor activity, even if it's just a walk or a picnic or going to a museum. I, many years ago, had a husband who turned into a tv zombie, and I realized that the more I mentioned it or tried to get him to turn it off the more he became attached to it, so I just started to make plans for us to do stuff outside and he would come a long and even enjoy himself. In that time conversations happened naturally and I was able to share my point of view about things in a way that didnt make him feel uncomfortable.
As far as the Danger Zone goes, I live in the country part of occupied East Jerusalem, but really we are Palestine, West Bank. and Israel doesnt supply us with basic services. We are surrounded by police roads and razor wire and electric fences, but it's mostly quiet. We've definitely had our share of dangerous situations, witnesses all types of human rights violations, violence and even murder of an innocent Palestinian young man by the Israeli Army. Everyone we know has either been in jail, been beaten, tortured or has a very close family member in jail now, many friends we have here have had their homes demolished and have had family members murdered, arrested, tortured etc.... but it's they way of life here, constant harassment and threat of violence. My oldest son is in hiding again to avoid being arrested for refusing to serve in the Israeli Army, he has been denied basic services and benefits for refusing to serve, it is mandatory by law for individuals with a Jewish relative to enter into the army at the age of 18, so even though my son is a Muslim and practices Islam since his grandmother, (my mother) is Jewish he must serve in the army even though we are Muslim, since he refuses he cannot go to school , work, travel or leave the country, was on house arrest and now is facing a military jail sentence. So the occupation effects everyone, even peaceful volunteers like us. BTW~ We have also volunteered at the animal shelter here in Jerusalem, it is very rewarding work. We even rescued a dog that was tied up and starving to death in Jericho. So keep up the good work and remember that every kind act has the weight of a thousand kind acts and no matter how small or insignificant it may seem it carries an unstoppable light that no one can take away from you. Every single one of us is special and talented and every single one of us has a divine light and creativity. So just connect with your true nature and be yourself, thats the best thing to be. We are all different but equal notes in this cosmic song of eternal life and we all need each other. Only when we work together in harmony can we truly realize the full scale of our existence. So dont ever think of yourself or actions as insignificant because nothing could be further from the truth.
Thank you everyone for being my internet family. Love and endless waves of deep inner peace forever,
Jamilah Palestine
