I'm also a new member to this site, and have only discovered the exceptional Max Igan videos on youtube over the past week or so (please let's do better than youtube), through which I thankfully find myself on this site.
Thank you so much Max for your work and superior, Intelligent focus in a world of powerful emotional illusion and degradation. Now this next paragraph is a copy/past from my initial post, as just now permitted - and thanks again for that.
I'm not trying to stir up controversy at all, however would like to note that there are a couple of statements early on (around 4 or 5 mins into 'The Awakening'), that are factually incorrect. They have to do with the role (our) emotions play within (our) consciousness. This is not a simple topic to tackle, but it really is terribly essential to who we are, and all existence is."
People generally refer to consciousness or mind or mentality or even cosmic consciousness etc., and reason that they have well covered the issue, however this generic misunderstanding, is terribly incomplete, and effectively isolates or ignores the (by far) most essential reality - INTELLIGENCE, which is a travesty of the highest order, and what I'd like to explore here.
Take a simple man for instance, who has come into existence through a two-sided interaction between male & female. He lives within the two sides of his brain, two sides of his mental processing and two sides to his nature - let's say 'good' and 'bad'. We're all aware that sometimes we make 'bad' choices when really we should have made 'good', yet the really frustrating thing is that we were not ignorant of that good choice, yet still selected the opposite. Therefore we in fact have two sides to our consciousness - let's again say good and bad.
There is an extremely vital reason for this often frustrating dichotomy within our consciousness, within which our choices are imagined, considered, determined, and subsequent actions taken - being the definition of the SPIRITUAL (mentality) becoming PHYSICAL (result of action). The reason is our consciousness itself is a dichotomy, the dynamic result of the constant conjoining of TWO preeminent inputs - our EMOTIONS and INTELLIGENCE.
Consider how we all know that 'Intelligent' choices are better/more constructive than emotional choices, which are more destructive; the more emotion involved in the motives behind the choice, the more destructive the result.
This dichotomy doesn't stop there, for these two preeminent inputs enter our consciousness continually, via two vastly differing, one could say antithetical sources. Our emotions are indeed 'memories' as derived from the physical realm of our environment via previous sensory input into our awareness/consciousness, and are all based primarily upon FEAR, by various doses.
The other (antithetical) side of this coin is based upon the opposite of fear - LOVE, and what man terms these days "INTELLIGENCE" (otherwise misrepresented religiously as 'God'). Yet whilst this GENETIC dimension of our being is also an integral part of our environment, it enters our awareness/consciousness not from the physical aspect of our existence, but belongs to, and is a quantum of a far more expansive and embracing reality - as our portion of the universe; the omnipresent SPIRITUAL realm, WHO indeed is INTELLIGENT.
So we enjoy Intelligence, not by accident nor evolutionary process, but because that is precisely who we are, as an integral Intelligent fragment of the whole; by definition - INTELLIGENCE HIMSELF! However this fragment of the INTELLIGENT UNIVERSE that we are, is also exposed by design to a most pivotal experience; indeed the antithesis of LOVE/INTELLIGENCE for a specific, awesome purpose, which I would like to explore further if anyone is willing.
So when we consider a universal consciousness, we're making a serious error in interpretation, for by definition consciousness is a dichotomy, yet the Universe has no emotion, no hate, no antithesis, no contradiction, other than evinced upon planet Earth, that is. The Universe is singularity, again; INTELLIGENCE HIMSELF - with no dichotomy.
