Hey people..

I have been in arend de lledo in aragon for a month now and have come across quite a lot of rules and regulations that is geared to releive you of as much money as possible if you want to build anything here..
Its possible,, but not on my budjet. I have found a piece of land set into a natural park and up a mountain with total seclusion from the rest of the world,, (perfect) But its 15 hectares and much too large for me to be able to afford on my own..

If you want to know the numbers,,, About 40 grand is what you will need to go halves with me.

I will be heading towards Portugal in the next couple of weeks in a search for a less expensive alternative if i dont have a breakthrough..

I have seen plenty of land/house/land etc.. advertised, however, it all looks good on the internet - who know what it really looks like... Good Luck Vince....

This is my first opportunity at a net connection for a few weeks,, So to update, I am in central portugal and finding that the land here is very green and useable for a permaculture farm...

The building laws here are much easier than spain so i am having a good look round to see whats happening,,,,

So far ,,, people are really friendly,,, overall, more honest than in spain,, Land prices are good in comparison ,,

There is easier access to water from the mountains for irregation.

I am also planning to purchase some property in France, and to start building one of those.

Hello everyone...
Its been a while since i last posted on this site regarding the progress of the domes and where they are going to be built.

GOOD NEWS...

The perfect land for a self sustaining eco-village has been bought and paid for and the first dome is underway in its construction..
The land is nearly 6 acres constructed of individual terraces,, Perfect for about twenty people that wants to go back to basics...

The eco-village is near a place called Alpedrinha in Portugal.. Situated close to the border of spain and the serra estrella (mountain of stars). Apparently, The locals say there are a lot of ufo sightings here but i havent seen any yet.

I stayed at another of the Tsokkos propertys and it was great. Clean, friendly, no problems with food etc. We did look at this property as DDs chose it, tho finished up in Egypt. Id be interested to see any responses too.
