Hello my name is Erich and I am a 19 year old Chinese and Philosophy Major at University of Washington in Seattle. For the majority of my life, I struggled between what seemed as two fighting elements, ones natural inclinations and those moral. Thankfully I quit suffering so much once I figured that out, accepting natural inclinations as finite beings we be, and, as Yoda would say, that luminous being of light element. My first philosophy class here, Philosophy of Kant gave me confidence in resisting the majority of my fellow classmates lifestyles as "pleasure seekers" or so I named. It was my first stepping stone toward believing in a true objective sense of right and wrong, and its been tough coming to terms- but I want to learn more.
There's a lot of crap on the internet, but keep listening to what really strikes my heart, and I begin hearing the same things over and over again. In other words:
