The Biblical tale tells us that Jesus was born in Bethlehem, lived in Nazareth and preached around Galilee, which clearly places him as being born in Palestine. Jesus was therefore a Palestinian, irrespective of the faith he temporarily adopted and later renounced (known today as Judaism). There have been many Palestinian "Jews", Golda Meir, former israeli Prime Minister to name just one.
The story goes that the teachings that Jesus espoused, ie: that of there being only One True God, and the followers of that belief at the time of Jesus' ministry, were known mostly as Israelites - as these beliefs were also espoused previously by the man named Israel who was once known as Jacob. At that time an Israelite was simply one who held a belief in only One True God above all others. Such people came from all classes, creeds and races. If you believed in One true God, you were an Israelite.
Many of these believers were also known as Yehudi, Judahites, and Judeans, due to Bethlehem, where Jesus was born, lying within the tribal province known as Judea - though these latter names were mostly given to those followers who generally came from the same province where he was born. Collectively all such believers were known as "Israel". The region within Palestine where these Holy Doctrines were first taught later become known as The Holy Land of Israel. But it was never a state or country. It was simply the region within Palestine where these teachings first appeared.
Jesus rejected the organized Religious doctrines of the time. He taught that every person had their own direct connection to God and that the Kingdom of Heaven lay within, and was not something one could find through church or doctrine. He was allowed to espouse his teaching for a while, however he greatly abhorred the corruption and perversions he saw around him and eventually he rebelled against the caste system of the Religious Hierarchy.
In doing so he fell afoul with the religious profiteers of the time who were "selling salvation" to the masses, the Hebrew money changers who were also misusing the Temples, and so they named him as an agitator and pressured the Roman Officials to crucify him. We are told the so called trial was a complete disaster that culminated in Pontius Pilate washing his hands of the entire debacle and leaving Jesus' fate for the crowd to decide.
Eventually Jesus was murdered by the police (Centurions) at the urgings of a rabid Hebrew mob. Crucified on a hill and left to die. We are informed that he was also pierced in the side by the spear of a Roman guard named Longinus to help things along. After Jesus' murder and death his teachings later became Christianity.
There have since been various adaptions of this story, Catholicism, Mormonism, Jehovah's Witnesses, Anglican, Presbyterian etc. And countless other adaptions of the teachings. The most nefarious and damaging, however, being the combining and replacement, within the Bible, of the terms Yehudi, Judahite, Judean and Israelite (those who chose the word of God over the power of the state - who were collectively known as "Israel") with the single word , "Jew" and the replacement of the word Nations (those who chose the power of the state over the word of God) with the term "Gentiles" that was carried out by King James VI.
This created what is sold to the world as a racial separation, and served to provide the mechanism required to flip the narrative from "Those people who chose God", into the concept of "Gods chosen people" and to create what is perceived to be a racial ethnicity to such people where no such thing exists. Where it states in the Bible that Christians must protect Israel, it is a reference to protecting the belief of Israel, the belief in One True God. It has nothing whatsoever to do with a piece of land.
A second and equally most damaging adaption of the Biblical tale came with the introduction of the Scofield Bible which saw the introduction of the term Judeo-Christian, when in reality, the two faith are diametrically opposed to one another.
In the religious teachings of Talmudic Judaism, for example, Jesus is said to now be imprisoned in "Gehinnom" named as a place of both purification and punishment, where he is said to be spending eternity writhing in pain, trapped in a boiling cauldron filled with the excrement of pigs, humans and various other vermin as punishment for his crimes against Judaism.
The term "Judeo-Christian" is a oxymoron
